Notice of Changes to the Regular Meeting of the Tarboro Town Council

In an effort to protect the public health and comply with federal, state, and local mandates and guidelines for decreasing the spread of COVID-19, during the regular meeting of the Tarboro Town Council on Monday, April 13th, 2020 at 7:00 pm, Town Hall will remain closed to the public. 

While the public will not be able to attend in person, the Town of Tarboro will make every effort to allow participation in the meeting and be as transparent as possible. Therefore, anyone wishing to make a public comment at the meeting will be allowed to do so by submitting comments prior to the meeting.  Public comments may be submitted in writing to Troy Lewis, Town Manager, P.O. Box 220, Tarboro, NC 27886 or by email at troylewis@tarboro-nc.com.  Comments received prior to 12:00 pm (Noon) on Monday, April 13th, 2020 will be read aloud during the public comment or public hearing portions of the meeting as applicable. 

The Town of Tarboro will be utilizing Zoom to conduct the meeting, allowing the public to view the proceedings and also allow members of Town staff and the Town Council to participate remotely in order to limit the number of on-site participants.  The meeting can be accessed by the public at https://zoom.us/j/483336843 or by phone at 1-301-715-8592 or 1-253-215-8782.  The meeting ID is 483 336 843.
